An Interview with Mr. Dennis Kevish

Mr. Dennis Kevish has been ZirTeeth’s patient from the beginning of 2015 year. He is currently retired and likes to travel around the U.S. with his beloved wife. When he walked into my office today I couldn’t escape notice his wide bright smile. About many years ago situation with Mr. Kevish’s health was completely different. He was a drug addict. Mr. Kevish’s story is about restoring stability, function and quality of life by overcoming functional and psychological effects he faced due to his missing teeth after rehabilitation. Here, he gives us insight about challenges he experienced with his partials before ZirTeeth, explains problems that he faced with other dental offices, and offers insight on his overall experience with permanent fixed bridge ZirTeeth, and more.

Jelena Ugrenovic: How did you find out about us, back then in 2015?

"When I saw your facilities, how clean and professional it is I knew this is it, my only choice."

Mr. Dennis Kevish: Searching for solution to fix my broken teeth I have visited several facilities and most of them offered their services to be completed in multiple locations (CAT scan in one location, surgery in another, teeth milling somewhere else). I prefered to receive treatment under one roof. Suddenly, I learned about dental implant seminar hosted by ZirTeeth and decided to check it out. 

JU: Why did you choose us and not some other company?

"Everything was done in one day. Everybody was wonderful, I was very happy with how everything turned out."

DK: When I saw your facilities, how clean and professional it is I knew this is it, my only choice. You offered the possibility for a whole procedure to be executed under one roof which makes an overall process much easier for clarity and financial arrangements. Dr. Benjamin is an amazing, experienced doctor. Whole staff treated me as a family member. Amazing experience!

JU: Really?

DK: Absolutely! Everything was done in one day. Everybody was wonderful, I was very happy with how everything turned out.  

JU: Did you feel any pain during the procedure?

"Everything started out with my drug addiction.  I took too many medications and my teeth started to crack until they finally broke."

DK: It was unbelievable! I didn’t feel any pain. My mouth were swollen, but besides that there was no pain. 

JU: How was your healing process?

DK: It took about a month, but I could eat everything with my temporary teeth even during the healing process.

JU: Let me get back to the most important question: How did it all start with your teeth loss?

DK: Everything started out with my drug addiction. I was a crack addict and had a bad doctor who prescribed me very strong medications. I took too many medications and my teeth started to crack until they finally broke.

JU: I am so glad to hear that you overcame drug addiction. Personally, I think that path to being clean and recovered from drug addiction is extremely challenging. I am so proud of your victory. What was your life quality after recovery related to your missing teeth?

 DK: I was wearing partials and they gave me a lot of trouble. They were loose, food will come in between partials and teeth. I could eat on one side only, it was very annoying. 

JU: How Did ZirTeeth change your life?

"Now, I can eat apples, I can chew gum. I can eat things that I couldn’t eat before. Like bread for example. Crust was so hard to chew. Steak was challenge. But not any more. With ZirTeeth everything is possible to eat. Even popcorn."

DK: I couldn’t smile before. When people see my pictures now, everybody would say what a great smile I have. My interaction with other people is much better. I don’t hide my teeth. JU: Now, that your life has been changed for a few years with ZirTeeth, is there anything you would do differently?

"I wish I had done this procedure sooner! It was a life-changing experience and a great long- term investment!"
